WHO WE ARE

Service for a Healthy Society

Here at Ti-Ratana Buddhist Society ,we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 1994, we have been determined to make a positive impact on the community through service for a healthy society. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and compassion to the range of activities we’re involved in, from Buddhist education to community services and Dhamma talks to Pūjā services in the Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana traditions, in line with Humanistic Buddhism with a non-sectarian lens. Through all our endeavors, we hope to demonstrate the conviction behind our beliefs and to strive diligently, as the Buddha taught in his noble Dhamma, with the support of the Sangha. Ti-Ratana Welfare Society is our separately registered sister organization, with a more secular nature, and together we form the Ti-Ratana Group.

MISSION AND VISION

We are a group of Buddhist community centres where children, youths, adults and seniors get together for educational programs, youth activities, welfare activities and community services. We aim to provide service for a healthy society. We look beyond any differences we may have and serve everyone unconditionally.

Buddhist Chief Sangha Nayaka of Malaysia

Venerable (Bhante) Datuk Dr. K. Sri Dhammaratana Nayaka Maha Thero, incumbent Buddhist Chief High Priest of Malaysia is known throughout Malaysia and internationally for his outstanding services to the Buddha Sasana. His efforts in the promotion of religious knowledge, a social interaction and cultural understanding amongst Malaysians are highly commendable. He has earned a great reputation as a successful missionary monk who was well trained under the guidance of the late Ven. Dr. K. Sri Dhammananda Nayaka Thera, The former Chief Incumbent Bhikku of the Buddhist Maha Vihara.
